By signing in with Google and using Leafy, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Leafy lets you identify plants from photos, register them into a personal collection, and get AI-generated health diagnoses from close-up photos of leaves, stems, soil, or roots. It also lets you generate a read-only link to share your collection.

Species identifications and health diagnoses are produced by an AI vision model, not a botanist or horticulturist, and are provided for informational purposes only. Results can be wrong, especially for rare species, poor-quality photos, or unusual symptom combinations. Do not rely on Leafy as the sole basis for decisions where being wrong matters — for example, determining whether a plant is toxic or safe to touch, eat, or keep around children and pets. When in doubt, consult a local nursery, extension service, or poison control resource.

You need a Google account to sign in. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure — anyone with access to it can access your Leafy collection.

You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you give Leafy permission to process it (including sending it to an AI model) and store it in order to provide the identification, diagnosis, and collection features of the service. Don't upload photos you don't have the right to share, or content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes on someone else's rights.

If you generate a share link, anyone who has that link can view the plants and conditions on it without signing in. You're responsible for who you share that link with, and you can revoke it at any time from within the app.

Leafy is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Identification and diagnosis depend on a third-party AI provider and may be temporarily unavailable or degraded; Leafy retries automatically but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leafy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including damage to plants, mistaken identifications, or missed diagnoses.

You can stop using Leafy at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, including uploading illegal or abusive content.

If these terms change materially, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change to reflect it. See also our privacy policy.
